This model features amber LED's. Amber lighting is often used to improve visibility in harsh elements. The glare from blue light is very difficult for the human eye to process. By removing blue from the light spectrum, we reduce the glare from snow, rain, fog, and dust which results in better visibility.
This Rigid Industries light features a combination of both Spot and Flood versions of their patented Hybrid optics system. The Hybrid Spot optic projects light over great distances in a concentrated beam and is the most powerful spot-style LED light in the industry. This makes it perfect for high speeds and situations where you need extreme distance. The Hybrid Flood optic, while offering just over half the distance of the Spot version, provides twice the coverage area. When combined, The Hybrid Spot and Flood optics provide the perfect combination of both distance and area.
This LED Light Bar now features a new 2-piece housing that is stronger, more durable and features an improved cooling system. 2-Piece housing are Torture Tested & Approved! With user serviceable mounting hardware and additional mounting bosses on the bottom and an integrated deutsch/amp plug, it makes this new 2-piece housing a more reliable sealing surface for you LED Light Bar.
